Welcome to My Personal Page
Why I Walk...for my grandson Porter who has Lebers Congenital Amaurosis, Nmnat1 gene mutation. He is attending W Ross MacDonald school in Brantford and CNIB has already done a lot for him and my family.
Did you know that every minute, three Canadians turn to CNIB for support, advice and information? Or that CNIB has been Canada’s primary source of support for people who are blind or partially sighted for 100 years? CNIB works to support thousands of Canadians who are blind or partially sighted each and every day, with personalized services including orientation and mobility, library services, emotional support, computer training and more.
My grandson Porter has been diagnosed with LCA. He is legally blind but does have some light perception. He is truly amazing, a very happy boy with no other health problems.
For these reasons, I’m participating in Night Steps to help raise funds for CNIB. C NIB, has been such a help in the past for Porter and he and our family will truly need CNIB in the future. Please make a donation to my page and help CNIB and Canadians in our community see beyond vision loss.
