Welcome to Daniel Moore's Personal Page
I'm walking in CNIB's annual Nights Steps tomorrow which raises funds for free community programs for anyone with sight loss. This year I'm raising money for our youth programs in Kitchener-Waterloo.
My favourite program here is a swimming class where kids with sight loss learn to swim in a safe, inclusive environment before joining their friends in a noisy, crowded pool. Good to learn this stuff in a safe environment first!
This year, we are asking you to assemble your best and brightest! Don your capes, dust off your super suits and join me and Team CNIB by making a donation to our Suprhero themed evening!
To honour one of my favourite superheroes, I'll be going to Night Steps this year as ... You guessed it - my Dad! He's got lots of super powers: Budgeting, a good sense of humour (usually), thriftiness, optimism, a step counting app. What more could you want?? He also just signed up to volunteer with his local CNIB Vision Mate program in Abbotsford, BC!
Any amount you can donate is very appreciated. Here are some suggestions...
People looking to kick start their career: $5
Step-brothers, climbing partners, former bosses, colleagues: $20
Moms, bosses: $25-40
Superhero (aka Dad!): $100
Plus, everyone who donates gets a photo of my costume tomorrow!
Your donation helps CNIB deliver more than innovative programs and powerful advocacy. You help us deliver hope. The type of hope that only a superhero can bring. You empower Canadians impacted by blindness to live the fullest life they can imagine.
It's for these reasons, I’m participating in Night Steps 2019! Please donate to my page and help individuals in our community see beyond sight loss.
Lots of love,
