Kenneys Walk for Denny
Why We Walk
Our father, Dennis Kenney, turned to CNIB in 2014 when he lost most of his sight due to a stroke in 2014. He was able to remain in his home with the help of assistive devices, some of which we accessed via programs through CNIB. The care and attention we received from the local office was excellent and most appreciated by Dennis and his family. Our family walks to help support the local programs, which we know are needed by many in the Windsor area.
Did you know that every minute, three Canadians turn to CNIB for support, advice and information? Or that CNIB has been Canada’s primary source of support for people who are blind or partially sighted? CNIB works to support thousands of Canadians who are blind or partially sighted each and every day, with personalized services including orientation and mobility, library services, emotional support, computer training and more.
For these reasons, we are participating in Night Steps to help raise funds for CNIB. Please support us by making a donation to one of our team members and help us help CNIB and Canadians in our community see beyond vision loss.
Or why not join our team and help us have an even bigger impact on the lives of those who are blind or partially sighted.
Your support of CNIB Night Steps Walk through sponsorship, participant or pledge would be greatly appreciated. No gift is too big or too small!
