Darius' One of a kind Superheroes
Why We Walk
As many of you know Darius is considered legally blind as a result of having NF2 and Down Syndrome. We have been a part of CNIB since diagnosis. They have been such amazing support and will continue to follow and help him as he grows. On Friday August 24th at marina park CNIB is having Brighten the night, a walk in support of people with sight loss. It is going to be a great event full of kids activities. If anyone would like to support Darius’ team we would love it if you registered and joined us during the walk. You do not need to donate $100 to be on the team. If you are unable to participate you can still come for the fun. If you would like to donate to this wonderful cause in Darius’ name click on the link below to help our team fundraiser. Darius’ team name is Darius one of a Kind. Our team goal is to reach $100.
Did you know that every minute, three Canadians turn to CNIB for support, advice and information? Or that CNIB has been Canada’s primary source of support for people who are blind or partially sighted? CNIB works to support thousands of Canadians who are blind or partially sighted each and every day, with personalized services including orientation and mobility, library services, emotional support, computer training and more.
For these reasons, we are participating in Night Steps to help raise funds for CNIB. Please support us by making a donation to one of our team members and help us help CNIB and Canadians in our community see beyond vision loss.
Or why not join our team and help us have an even bigger impact on the lives of those who are blind or partially sighted.
Your support of CNIB Night Steps Walk through sponsorship, participant or pledge would be greatly appreciated. No gift is too big or too small!
